Tawanda Masora is a Zimbabwean photographer based in Nottingham, working primarily with 35mm black-and-white film. His practice centres on street, documentary and landscape photography, driven by an interest in observing everyday life and the details of place.

Much of his work is rooted in wandering - responding instinctively to moments on the street or to the character of a landscape. Whether photographing cities or rural environments, his images aim to capture small, often overlooked moments that reveal something about the atmosphere of a place and the lives unfolding within it.

Although most of his work is produced on film, he works across both analogue and digital formats. His photographic influences draw from documentary traditions as well as topographic approaches to landscape, with an emphasis on simplicity, observation and careful sequencing.
